Racewalking Racewalking Racewalking is a certified U.S. Track and Field Association sport and has been a part of the Olympics for decades. In fact, the 50km Racewalk is the longest distance competition in the Olympic games. Proper technique defines the sport. Judges placed along the certified race course or track monitor a walker's compliance with the rules. While many racewalk for competition, others in the Parkside Athletic Club learn to racewalk to enjoy its many health and fitness benefits. |
